About Inca Stargazer
'Inca Stargazer', also simply known as 'Stargazer', is a cultivated variety of Psilocybe cubensis traditionally associated with South America. Its commonly told origin story traces the genetic to wild specimens collected in the Andean region of Peru near ancient Inca sites, though the precise provenance of commercially circulating Stargazer genetics is difficult to independently verify. Today, the variety remains part of the long-established collection of geographically-named P. cubensis genetics maintained within the cultivation community.
