About Mazatapec
'Mazatapec' is a cultivated variety of Psilocybe cubensis whose names references the Mazatec people of Oaxaca, Mexico-- a culture with a documented history of ceremonial mushroom use. The precise provenance of commercially circulating genetics sold under the name 'Mazatapec', however, is difficult to identify.
Cultivation Details
Lot: 260726-MZ
Cultivation Status: In progress
Notes: We observed slender, elongated fruiting bodies with compact, amber caps. Minor natural variation in size and shape may occur between individual specimens; these differences are considered normal for the strain. Overall growth was uniform across the batch, with no significant abnormalities observed during the harvest period.
